The Expedition Team:

The Project Team has been brought together by Didit, the people who co-ordinated the Everest '07 Girlguiding balloon attempt in Nepal. The folk at Didit are really quite lovely and run their well-respected business with clear non-profit aims. They, too, are  Girlguiding members. They will be accompanying the trip on an unpaid basis. They are based down in Tavistock, Devon.

Each expedition will led by original members of the Everest '07 Expedition. 

The logistics in Nepal will be handled by the hugely experienced people at Himalaya Expeditions. They have an enviable reputation in the mountain explorer's community and all the resources and respected connections to make things happen safely and with the minimum of fuss.

We will travel with Qatar Airways, a true five-star airline from a nation with some of the world's fastest growth in Girlguiding membership. They have been very kind to us with the prices. 

And back home we will have the support of all throughout Girlguiding SW England and the Press team at CHQ.
